The Xbox Wire blog has said that, "In signature Arkane style, you will choose your path across the island and through the vampire masses as you discover what caused this plague of bloodsuckers, then put an end to the threat." Redfall is an open-world first-person shooter where players can work together in groups of up to four people, but you can choose to play on your own if you'd prefer. And players on the older Xbox One consoles will be missing out, as well.
There seem to be no plans to bring Redfall to Nintendo Switch or PlayStation consoles.

The game takes place in the island town of Redfall, Massachusetts, which is under siege by a legion of vampires who have blocked out the sun and cut the citizens off from the outside world. Redfall is described as an open-world, co-op first-person shooter from the minds behind Prey and Dishonored at Arkane.
The game is still expected to be released in the first half of 2023 for the Xbox Series and PC via Steam.
Despite the delay, Bethesda still had time to give fans of their upcoming vampire title Redfall a treat during Summer Game Fest with a brand-new gameplay trailer.
